日頃より市政運営に温かいご理解とご協力をいただき、心より御礼申し上げます。
市民の皆さまのご支援のもとで歩んだ2期8年間、私は「すべての人が暮らしやすい鉾田」を目指し、農業・子育て・福祉・防災・インフラ・行政改革と、あらゆる分野に力を尽くしてまいりました。
少子高齢化や人口減少という時代の逆風の中であっても、市民の声に耳を傾け、現場に足を運び、一歩ずつ“持続可能なまちづくり”を前に進めてきたと自負しております。
その取り組みは、農業所得や市民所得の向上、子育て環境の充実、安心できる福祉や防災体制の強化といった成果の芽となって、確かに現れはじめています。
大切なのは、この芽を確かな実りへと育てあげ、未来の世代に誇れる鉾田を築いていくことです。
だからこそ、私はこの歩みを止めるわけにはいきません。
これからも合言葉は 「進化する、鉾田」100年先を見据え、市民とともに、さらに前へ。
